DAY 1
AIR PORT / KANDY

Discover the wonders of SRI LANKA taking the time to enjoy and relax… this are the purpose of that tour. It also focuses on the main attractions of the island. The magic of the landscapes and the beauty of the inhabitants of the former Ceylon will seduce you. “The Island of smiles”, as it is called, reveals you its charms in an unforgettable journey. We welcome you upon your arrival at the airport, where you meet your driver and your personal guide. Then we take the road to Kandy. On the road, we stop at the Elephants’ Orphanage in Pinawella, where you can bottle feed the little ones and watch the spectacular daily bath in the nearby river. Check into your hotel room and then relaxing. In the evening, you watch a show of colorful traditional dances. The rhythm of the drums will lead us to the famous Temple of the Tooth (Dalada Maligama) and its nocturnal procession. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight

 

 

 

DAY 2
KANDY

We welcome you upon your arrival at the airport, where you meet your driver and your personal guide. Then we take the road to Kandy. On the road, we stop at the Elephants’ Orphanage in Pinawella, where you can bottle feed the little ones and watch the spectacular daily bath in the nearby river. Check into your hotel room and then relaxing. In the evening, you watch a show of colorful traditional dances. The rhythm of the drums will lead us to the famous Temple of the Tooth (Dalada Maligama) and its nocturnal procession. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight Breakfast at the hotel and day devoted to the discovery of the sacred city of Kandy. Dive into the magical and serene atmosphere of 3 Buddhist temples : Gadoladeniya, Lankatilaka and Embekke. We will join the two first one by VAN, then we will walk through the tea plantations and rice fields to win the third one. Short hike without difficulty (about 3 kilometers). The opportunity to cross two rural villages. Since arriving in Kandy, you'll definitely noticed very quickly the Buddha statue overlooking the city. Follow your guide to meet this and enjoy the panorama that is offered. Return to your hotel, dinner and overnight.

 

 

 

DAY 3
KANDY / GIRITHALE

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Giritale. On the road we’ll visit a colorfull Hindu temple. Then, while taking the spices road , we will do a stop in Ayurvedic garden. A time of refreshing in a garden where medicinal plants reveal their secrets. You can try some of these 100% natural remedies. Finally, we stop to visit a temple like no other: the Dambulla Rock Temple. This site contains a troglodyte alignment of kings and Buddhas carved in stone, surrounded by beautiful paintings that trace the life of Buddha. Leaving the temple, enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding area to the nearby fortress of Sigiriya. Check into your hotel, dinner and overnight.

 

 

 

DAY 4
GIRITHALE

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Polonnaruwa. You will discover the magical atmosphere that emanates from this site as a World Heritage of Humanity. Here every stone delivers you the secrets of a rich and unusual history. Buddha statue and ancient remains "Discovery on foot or bicycle, as you wish" Imagine the work of stone and wood, made at the time by craftsmen with nimble fingers. Then, meet the same craftsmen who, decades later, shaping the wood to create objects, artworks, or furniture. You can see the sculptor's work in a wood carving factory and buy authentic and original memories Return to your hotel, dinner and overnight

 

 

 

DAY 5
GIRITHALE / ANURADHAPURA

Breakfast at the hotel. Then we will climb the steps to the Sigiriya rock. From the top of this ancient citadel, you'll be amazed by the beauty of the panorama that is offered. It is also an opportunity to see the famous cave paintings which ornament the cavities, and numerous ponds. You will also find this site protected by UNESCO, from the back of your elephant for a fun and original ride. Pretty pictures in perspective! Finally, discover the secrets of the monastery « rity Gala ». Check into your hotel, dinner and overnight.

 

 

 

DAY 6
ANURADHAPURA / KANDY

Breakfast at the hotel and day spent to the discovery of the holy city of Anuradhapura. Declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the sacred city was the capital of Sri Lanka 3rd century BC to the 5th century AD It is filled with relics that testify to a sumptuous time. Follow your guide for a journey full of discovery and wonder through "dagobas", "Moonstone" and "sacred tree". We will then take the road again to Kandy to spend the night. Check into your hotel, dinner and overnight.

 

 

 

DAY 7
KANDY / NUWARA ELIYA

Breakfast at the hotel and morning in the beautiful botanical garden of Peradeniya near Kandy. Then, we will visit a batiks factory. On the road to Nuwara Eliya, you will discover the amazing landscapes of tea plantations. Women dressed in colorful saris, wind through the plantations to pick the precious flower. Well open your eyes wide and let yourself be transported by the magic of the show that you have given. Check into your hotel, dinner and overnight.

 

 

 

DAY 8
NUWARA ELIYA / ELLA

Breakfast at the hotel and discovering of the highest city of the island: Nuwara Eliya. Perched at 1800m, this colonial town was once a popular spa resort with English settlers. Now nicknamed "Little England", the city has many red telephone boxes, a famous golf, and many colonial-style bungalows. Then it will be THE highlight of this trip, whatever you do never forget : excursion by train to Ella, among the tea plantations and green hills. Arriving at Ella, we reserve you a little surprise "Wellness" ... Check into your hotel, dinner and overnight.

 

 

 

DAY 9
ELLA / TISSAMAHARAMA

Breakfast at the hotel and ascent of Little Adam's Peak, where you enjoy a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding hills. Short hike without difficulty, rewarded by a refreshing near a waterfall. The small town of Ella is encircled by a dozen waterfalls. A nice opportunity for us to freshen up the look, body and mind, in this circuit! Then road to Tissa. DAY 10
TISSA / TANGALLE

Morning JEEP SAFARI in famous YALA NATIONAL PARK. For this last day with us, imperative wake before the sun! But you will not miss this appointment, as the experience that awaits you certainly leave you with unforgettable memories. This park is the most famous of the island. Savannah and marshes are home to unique wildlife, buffalos, deers, crocodiles, monitor lizards, various birds ... but also about 400 elephants and especially the famous leopard. Jeep safari lasting 4 hours. During this morning, we will do a short stop on a paradise beach that borders the National Park. The opportunity to fill your stomach while your eyes will probably already filled! Cameras to remember!
